Shunka Japanese Family Restaurant (Sungai Petani branch)

This restaurant can be called on of those high end Japanese restaurants that you would find in Sungai Petani. I usually don't eat here often because the price range is above average, but I do come here for special occasions. For example, I'm here this time to celebrate one of my roommate's 21st birthday!

So, I think we were their first customer that day for the dinner shift. We chose to sit in the box because we find it a bit uncomfortable to sit at the dining chair outside of the box. Not that the chair is made of pins or whatever, but it is just that the space allocated for one chair is pretty small and it is quite hard to get on and out of the chair =.= Sometimes, I feel that a person who is slightly bigger in size would find it difficult trying to squeeze in and have a seat. A box, on the other hand, is more spacious.

So, skip the talk and I shall show you all what I ordered that day. I don't really remember the price of each and every item but I can tell you the price range for each dish is around RM 7-RM25.

By looking at the dishes above, you can totally notice that this restaurant is not entirely Japanese cuisine. They have some of the Korean cuisine and also Western cuisine. I think it is kind of like a mix. If you frequent this place, you can apply for a membership where you will get a card and you can get 10% discount off your total bill!
